BPL CEO Inspires Next Generation of Energy Leaders at INTI Future Energy Leaders Forum

Bahamas Power and Light Company Ltd. (BPL) Chief Executive Officer Toni Seymour energized dozens of students attending the inaugural 2025 INTI Future Energy Leaders Forum, inspiring them to become innovators, problem-solvers and change makers in the energy sector.

Held at the British Colonial Hotel, the forum brought together 50 students from 45 schools across New Providence, Long Island and Grand Bahama to explore renewable energy and education.

Seymour outlined BPL’s transformation toward a cleaner, smarter and more sustainable energy future through renewables and digital innovation and encouraged students to “stay curious and start now.”

Minister of Energy and Transport Hon. JoBeth Coleby-Davis also addressed attendees, urging them to embrace innovation and leadership in Bahamas’ energy transition.

BPL remains committed to “Building for Better,” encouraging students to pursue STEM and energy-related careers that keep Bahamian talent at the forefront of the nation’s power sector.
