BPL Clarifies Ownership Regarding Overturned Trailer Incident

Nassau, The Bahamas — Bahamas Power and Light Company Limited (BPL) wishes to provide accurate details surrounding a traffic incident that occurred today at the roundabout intersecting Baillou Hill Road and Tonique Williams-Darling Highway.

BPL confirms that the overturned trailer unit and flatbed truck involved in the incident are not owned or operated by BPL, and the company has no direct connection to the vehicle or the transport operation.

The flatbed trailer in question was subcontracted by Aggreko to transport a power generation unit to the dock for export.

BPL can confirm that the driver of the vehicle was not injured in the incident. Furthermore, a crane was successfully utilized at the scene to lift the overturned truck and stabilize the generation unit.

This equipment transport was under the direction of Aggreko, and BPL bears no involvement or liability in
this matter.
